Helon Tablet

Helon tablet has been used to manage
symptoms related to premenstrual syndrome
(PMS) and cyclic mastalgia and may be a suitable
alternative to standard pharmacological
management. Its also supports its use for PMS
and cyclic mastalgia, there are limited clinical
trials to support these uses. Limited evidence
exists for its use in menopause.

 Chastetree berry is often used by
herbalists to regulate hormone imbalances
in women and lower the testosterone levels
in men. It is known for its effectiveness in
the treatment of menstrual disorders, PMS,
menopausal symptoms.


Do not use Helon with the following medications;

1. Birth control pills (Contraceptive drugs) interacts with Helon®  Vitex agnus-castus seems to change hormone levels in the body. Birth control pills contain hormones. Taking vitex agnus-castus along with birth control pills might decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills. If you take birth control pills along with vitex agnus-castus, use an additional form of birth control such as a condom.
2. Estrogens interacts with Helon®  Vitex agnus-castus seems to change hormone levels in the body. Taking vitex agnus-castus along with estrogen pills might decrease the effects of estrogen pills.
3. Medications for mental conditions (Antipsychotic drugs) interacts with Helon®
Vitex agnus-castus seems to affect a chemical in the brain called dopamine. Some medications for mental disorders help to decrease dopamine. Taking vitex agnus-castus along with medications for mental conditions might decrease the effectiveness of some medications for mental conditions.
4. Some medications for mental conditions include chlorpromazine, clozapine, fluphenazine,
haloperidol, olanzapine, perphenazine, prochlorperazine, quetiapine, risperidone,
thioridazine, thiothixene, and others.

5. Medications used for Parkinson's disease (Dopamine agonists) interacts with Helon®  Vitex agnus-castus contains chemicals that affect the brain. These chemicals affect the brain similarly to some medications used for Parkinson's disease. Taking vitex agnus-castus with these medications might increase the effects and side effects of some
medications used for Parkinson's disease. Some medications used for Parkinson's disease include bromocriptine, levodopa, pramipexole, ropinirole, and others.
6. Metoclopramide (Plasil) interacts with Helon®  Vitex agnus-castus seems to affect a certain brain chemical. This chemical is called dopamine. Metoclopramide (Plasil) also affects
dopamine. Taking vitex agnus-castus along with metoclopramide might decrease the effectiveness of metoclopramide (Plasil )
